OUR MISSION
At Expression of Dance, we provide a friendly and positive atmosphere where students of all ages are given the opportunity to grow and excel in their learning experience. We focus to teach and encourage each student to believe in one self, set goals, work within their group, and develop strong technique; all while having fun. We strive to inspire our students and be inspired by our students.

MISS TANYA
Owner & Director, Teacher
Miss Tanya has been owner & director since she opened the studio doors back in 1995, and is a lifelong certified member of Dance Educators of America.
She is honored to receive numerous awards for her outstanding choreography, along with receiving the studio excellence award and the professionalism award!
Her students have performed in Disney and Universal Studios, at the Harlem Globetrotters, IronPigs, Hershey Park & have qualified to compete & perform at Nationals.
Miss Tanya is proud to educate many students and watch them grow up at the dance studio until they graduate high school. She loves following their dance journey after high school where many continue with dance through college and further their dance career by performing in the arts and/or are now educating young dancers today!
EOD has been Miss Tanya’s dream come true for 32 years and is blessed to share her love of dance with every student that walks through her door.

MISS MEGHAN
Assistant Director, Teacher
Miss Meghan graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University at Buffalo with a BFA in Dance. She has been dancing since the age of 4 under the direction of Miss Tanya, where she was a competitive dancer, student teacher, and was in many performances throughout her high school years. Miss Meghan has also studied under Oleg Briansky and Mireille Briane at the Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. She has trained at the Briansky Saratoga Ballet Center, Pennsylvania Governor’s School for the Arts, and the Point Park Summer Dance Intensive. While in Buffalo, she was a member of the Zodiaque Dance Company where she performed at the American College Dance Festival and was also given the opportunity to choreograph. Miss Meghan’s competitive dances have won numerous choreography awards and top scores. She also has choreographed theatre groups in the Lehigh Valley & her choreography was a part of the Freddy Award winning musicals “Little Women”, “Music Man”, “Sweeney Todd”, “A Tale of Two Cities”, and “She Loves Me”. She is currently a certified strength and conditioning coach through the International Sports Sciences Association. Miss Meghan is excited to share her love of dance with her students.

MISS CHLOE
Teacher
Miss Chloe has been dancing since she was four years old and began her early training under Barbara Piotrowski at Miss Jeanne’s School of Dance Arts in Bethlehem. Chloe has also trained at The Ballet Guild of the Lehigh Valley, Relevé Dance Academy in Phoenixville, PA, and is a graduate of The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts, where she was a member of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts and was the recipient of the Most Outstanding Dancer Award at graduation. During her time at Charter Arts, she took advantage of many master class and performance opportunities with well renowned companies and choreographers such as Madboots, Roni Koresh, Tiffanie Carson, Lehrer Dance, Larry Keigwin, and attended the National High School Dance Festival in Pittsburgh, PA. Miss Chloe received her psychology degree from Moravian University and her Masters from Lehigh University. Miss Chloe is excited to share her love of dance at EOD!

MISS COURTNEY
Teacher
Miss Courtney started dancing at the age of 5 at Miss Tanya’s and trained in hip hop, ballet, lyrical, and jazz as an EOD competition student. She graduated from Wilkes University with a BA in Political Science and a minor in Dance, Women’s and Gender Studies, & Public Policy. While obtaining her dance minor at Wilkes, Courtney extended her dance training in jazz and lyrical while also gaining new skills in the genres of modern and tap. She performed in many Showcases and was also given the opportunity to choreograph and debut two original pieces in the shows. Courtney was a four-year member of the Wilkes Dance Team and served as Captain and President of the team for 3 years. During her time as Captain, Courtney choreographed over 15 halftime performances for the team in the genres of hip hop and jazz. She also introduced the jazz-pom genre to the team that they debuted in 2021. Miss Courtney is excited to be back at EOD and to share her love of dance!

MISS HANNAH
Teacher
Miss Hannah received a B.F.A. in Dance from Wright State University in Dayton, OH where she performed in MainStage musicals, including Hairspray, Phantom of the Opera, and Oklahoma!, dancing the role of Dream Laurey. She danced with the Dayton Contemporary Dance Company II, and choreographed works performed on the MainStage. She trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Acrobatics for 15 years at Just Off Broadway in Cincinnati, OH. As a soloist she was recognized as the top dancer, regionally and nationally, representing major dance organizations. After graduating, Miss Hannah spent 4 years in NYC where she studied at Broadway Dance Center, Steps on Broadway, & Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre as well as teaching and choreographing for studios in NY, NJ, and CT. Her passion for Acro dance led her to become an Acrobatic Arts certified teacher. Miss Hannah looks forward to meeting new students & sharing her passion with them!

MISS JENN
Teacher, Billing/Accounts Manager
Miss Jenn trained from the age of 3 at Bucks County Dance Centre & Wendy’s Dance Center. She was a member of Temple University's Diamond Gems Dance Team and she also studied under several master teachers at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Professionally, she danced at Sesame Place theme park where she had the opportunity to perform across the country, including a featured dancer role on the Today Show. She has over 30 years of teaching experience, and has been with Expression of Dance since 2002. She strives to bring a fresh perspective, offer new challenges and share her passion for dance with her students. Miss Jenn is also the founder and director of the Lehigh Valley Dance Alliance (LVDA) and True Dance Challenge (TDC), whose mission is to better the opportunities for dancers of our area.
Miss Jenn is the EOD Billing/Accounts Manager and is happy to help with any needs or questions regarding your account her at EOD!

MISS KAYLEE
Teacher
Miss Kaylee has been dancing since the age of three. She has studied multiple types of dance including jazz, tap, ballet, modern, lyrical, hip hop, salsa, ballroom, gymnastics etc. She continued to study dance at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania with a BFA in Dance. She was involved with the Lenhart Dance Company for three years and was awarded with the Dean Lenhart Memorial Scholarship. Being a part of this company she was able to work with many choreographers and companies from all over. She was also involved with the Kutztown University Dance Team & Reading Phillies Dance Team throughout college. Kaylee has taught competitive and recreational dance for many years and assisted classes prior to instructing her own classes. She has also coached and choreographed for several dance teams.

MISS KELLY
Teacher
Miss Kelly joined Miss Tanya's at the age of 5 where she trained in ballet, jazz, tap & lyrical as a EOD competition student. Miss Kelly graduated Cum Laude from DeSales University with a BA in Dance and a BS in Sport & Exercise Physiology. While at DeSales, she studied ballet, jazz, modern & tap under Trinette Singleton, Tara Madsen, Julia Mayo, Tim Cowart and Angela Sigley Grossman. Miss Kelly performed in professional and student choreographed works, as well as historical reconstructions originally choregraphed by Doris Humprey and Jose Limon. She had the opportunity to choreograph two of her own works at DeSales and presented them at venues in the Lehigh Valley. Currently, Miss Kelly is a first company member for Emme Dance Collective based in Lancaster and is a certified Zumba fitness instructor. Miss Kelly received her doctorate in Physical Therapy from DeSales in 2021 and has been working for St. Luke's, specializing in performing arts injury treatment and prevention. Teaching at EOD is a dream come true, and she is thrilled to share her passion with so many young dancers!

MISS MICHELLE
Teacher
Miss Michelle has been teaching ballet & pointe for over 15 years at EOD. She studied classical ballet under the instruction of Timothy Draper, artistic director of the Rochester City Ballet. She has performed lead roles in the Nutcracker (Dew Drop Fairy) and The Firebird (The Most Beautiful Maiden). She also performed various solos and duets in the second act of The Nutcracker (Chinese Dance, Merlitons, Spanish Dance, and English Toffee). Miss Michelle was selected to attend the New York State Summer School for the Arts where she received training from principal dancers from the New York City Ballet. She received her Bachelor’s degree in English and her Master’s degree in Elementary Education from The College at Brockport, State University of New York. Miss Michelle works as a fifth grade teacher in New Jersey. She loves sharing her passion of ballet with the EOD students.

MISS NOELLE
Teacher
Miss Noelle has been teaching at EOD since 2002. She has always loved dancing & competed with dance throughout middle and high school, participating in various workshops and performance opportunities. In addition to teaching dance classes, Miss Noelle has over 20 years of experience in the field of education. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary and Special Education from the University of Delaware in Newark, DE. While attending the University of Delaware, Miss Noelle continued her dance career as a member of the University of Delaware Dance Team, performing at sporting and campus events, including football and basketball games, and competing at the Universal Dance Association College National Championships. Miss Noelle has a Master’s Degree in Reading and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. Miss Noelle is very excited share her passion of teaching and dancing with her students.

MISS JANAE
Office Assitant
Miss Janae is one of our office assistants. She is available at the office window to answer your questions, schedule your shoe/attire appointments, and make sure your child have everything she/he needs for class. Janae is a former EOD student, currently working toward her college degree. She looks forward to seeing the students and parents throughout the season.

MISS KAYLA

Miss Kayla is one of our office assistants. She is available at the office window to answer your questions, schedule your shoe/attire appointments, and make sure your child have everything she/he needs for class. Kayla is a former EOD student, currently working toward her college degree. She looks forward to seeing the students and parents throughout the season.
